MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Three people were hurt while riding horses Monday night on Baxter County Road 25. Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery reports, the vehicle was driven by 29-year-old James Jody Buchannan, who was northbound, rounded a curve, then struck the horses. Arkansas representatives are intervening in a dispute between the National Park Service and a rural cemetery association in Newton County.
