Harrison Voters begin the process today on deciding the fate of two Sale Tax Proposals that would fund the building of a New Community Center as well as benefit other City Park Projects and Maintenance.
According to information on the Boone County Website, voters can go to the Boone County Election Center on Central Ave. in Harrison for early voting today through Friday and again next Monday from 8 am to 4:30 pm with the Polls open on Election Day next Tuesday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm at the Election Center as well as Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
The two issues Harrison Voters will decide on is a quarter of a cent Sales Tax to fund the $20 million bond for renovation and construction of the Creekside Community Center at the old Harrison Junior High location Downtown plus another quarter cent Sales Tax for Operations and Maintenance for that plus all Park Facilities.
A complete recap and specifics on the project can be found on the Creekside Community Center Facebook Page.
