Conservation Report Podcast: Some Areas Still Recovering from Flood Damage

Among the topics discussed on this week’s Missouri Department of Conservation Podcast by Taney Conservation Agent Quenten Fronterhouse are some of the Conservation Areas still closed due to the rains earlier this week.

These include the Campground and some of the Fishing Spots at Roaring River State Park in Barry County, some of the Launch Points along the James River near Galena in Stone County, and the Busiek State Forest Shooting Range in Christian County. Fronterhouse also talks about some of the high water issues encountered in the Cape Fair area of Stone County and around the Mincy area in Taney County.

The wrap-up of Paddle Fish season and the continuing Turkey Season was also discussed during the podcast which can be heard below:
