The Branson Board of Aldermen will conduct their first full meeting with the new board tonight.
Branson Mayor Larry Milton comments about tonight’s meeting in a statement released last week.
In his “For the People” column, Milton says, “While you voted for the Aldermen to vote on your behalf regarding city issues, it is important for you to stay engaged to help us stay on track, the track YOU want us to stay on, and participating in city meetings is a key element. The Council Chamber in City Hall has 133 seats and we would like to see them filled every meeting,” he said.
Milton also said the new Board of Aldermen and Mayor email accounts are active. He added that their individual phone numbers are available also. “These can be found on the City’s website. Please reach out to us often with your recommendations, issues, and concerns. Your concerns are our concerns,” Milton said in the column.
Tonight’s Aldermen Meeting begins at 6:00 at Branson City Hall.
