ATT: Callie Mondy Talks National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Camp Jack Updates

Callie Mondy discusses National Child Abuse Prevention Month and also highlights some Camp Jack updates during Monday’s interview on KHOZ’s “Around the Table” program.

“It’s a National Child Abuse Prevention Month,” Mondy said. She said the symbol of a blue pinwheel is used for this month.

Mondy said the American Legion is partnering with Grandma’s House Child Advocacy Center to help sell the pinwheels are being sold to raise money for center. “We had 540 cases last year,” she said in regards to the number of cases in the area last year.

She said more information can be found on the Grandma’s House Facebook Page and on the organization’s website.

She also highlighted some upcoming events with Camp Jack.
