Northern Arkansas Wildfire Dangers High or Moderate

From: KTLO

Much of Northwest Arkansas remains under a ‘high’ warning for potential wildfire danger while the rest of northern Arkansas remains under a ‘moderate’ warning for wildfires, the Arkansas Forestry Commission warns.

The high warning extends from Washington and Crawford counties eastward and includes Boone, Carroll, Madison, and Newton counties. The wildfire warning drops to moderate beginning with Marion and Searcy counties and continues eastward to the Missouri boot heel.

Rain is in the forecast for much of the region today.
