Missouri Municipal Election Day

Polls are open today for 2021 Missouri Municipal Elections with a number of races and issues to be decided.

Among the key races are the four-way race for the Branson Mayor’s Position as well as two contested Alderman Races, a contested School Board Race, and the vote on the continuation of the Tourism Tax.

Other contested races in Taney County include Alderman Races in Merriam Woods as well as some certified write-in candidates in both Forsyth and Hollister. In Stone County, School Board Races are contested in Blue Eye, Reeds Spring, and Shell Knob with contested Municipal Races in Crane and Galena as well as a seven-person race for two spots on the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District plus three people running for two seats on the Stone County E-911 Board.

Other Ballot Issues in the area will be decided by voters of the Hollister and Reeds Spring School District as well as the voters in the Central Taney County Fire Protection District. Voters in Galena, Indian Point, McCord Bend, and Rockaway Beach all have city issues on the ballot.

Polls are open until 7:00 tonight. A special Facebook Edition of Ozarks Now will feature coverage of the Election Returns this evening beginning at 8:00 with updates also airing on Legends 106.3 KRZK.
