The Annual South Central Missouri Fellowship of Christian Athletes Awards Banquet features a former NFL Quarterback and Broadcaster as the keynote speaker.
Former Washington Quarterback Joe Theismann talked to the crowd of around 400 people at the Thursday night event about his career and how adversity has been actually opportunities God has presented him.
Theismann also talks about that concept during a session with the media prior to the Banquet.
Branson’s Andrew O’Dell and Exeter’s Macy Barrett were honored as the So Central FCA Male and Female Athletes of the Year while Thayer’s Bryan Tate posthumously received the Coach of the Year Honor. Coach Tate helped start the FCA Program in Thayer before dying suddenly of an undetected heart ailment in 2019.
