Bill Kniep from House of Hope said the street outreach program is designed to help the homeless on the streets.
Kniep said they help individuals they find meet their needs. They provide breakfast and lunch as well as showers. Beyond that, they help their clients get jobs. “A lot of times we’ll hit the online services,” he said while discussing how they assist in finding homes.
Hope Cottages is another service they provide for clients in transitional periods.
Aside from needing a new washing machine, House of Hope is also needing water, protein bars, and other portable items.
Kniep was interviewed on “Around The Table” on KHOZ Thursday. The full interview is available on the Around The Table Facebook Page.
