The Arkansas State Police continues their investigation into an incident in Mountain Home Tuesday night that resulted in the shooting of a person wanted on charges in Missouri by a Police Officer.

According to ASP Public Information Officer Bill Sadler, the man shot was 41-year-old Kevin Lee Donovan of Adrian, Missouri, who is hospitalized in Springfield in reported critical condition. Donovan is wanted on charges of possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a weapon.

Ozarks First Reporter Jacob Blount, during an interview on Wednesday’s “Ozarks Now” program on KRZK, reports Donavan was spotted by his Bail Bondsman at Casey’s General Store and then called the Mountain Home Police Department for assistance when the confrontation took place leading to the shooting.

Blount also talks about the video that was shot of the incident by a former reporter from the Baxter Bulletin. A portion of that video is available on the “Around the Table” Facebook Page that aired on KHOZ.

Information on the story will be updated on air place online from Ozarks First, KTLO, and Hometown Daily News.
