by: JonChristopher Collins

Harrison Fire Chief Marc Lowery spoke with “Around the Table” on KHOZ Tuesday to discuss the recent events.

Chief Lowery talked about a housefire that happened in the area last month. The fire ended up with a fatality. “In the fire service we have these trends. We’ll go for a year or two and not have very many structure fires. It seems like since January we’ve had several,” Lowery said. He also highlighted the importance of smoke detectors and the program available through the Fire Department.

Lowery talked about swift water rescue and recent training of personnel.

The full show is available on the Around The Table Facebook Page.
