Branson Officials Propose Timetable for End of COVID-19 Law

by: Scott McCaulley

The Branson Board of Alderman will consider an ordinance at this evening meeting that will set the timetable for the ending of COVID-19 Protocol Laws in the City.

The Bill, that could be passed on both a First and Second Reading tonight, would set the end to the Law including mandatory Face Coverings and Social Distancing on May 9, which will be 30 days after the date announced last week by Missouri Governor Mike Parson of the beginning of Phase 3 of COVID Vaccination Plan which will open up vaccine opportunities to all of Missouri Adult Residents.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:00 and will be held virtually and can be viewed on the City of Branson’s YouTube Channel.
