The City of Flippin honored the late Forrest L. Wood and his widow, Nina Mae, Thursday with the renaming of several city streets to Forrest Wood Dr. and presenting Nina Mae with the key to the city while proclaiming Nina Mae Wood Day as part of the city’s Centennial Celebration.

Main Street, along with First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth streets are now part of Forrest Wood Drive.

Founders of Ranger Boats, Forrest and Nina Mae Wood were selfless supporters of the City of Flippin, says Mayor Jerald Marberry during the ceremony.

A complete feature on the Ceremony is posted on the KTLO Website.
