Arkansas and Missouri are following the lead of the I.R.S. in extending the Personal Income Tax Filing Deadline.
The I.R.S. confirmed on Wednesday that they were going to extend the filing of 2020 Taxes until May 17 with Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Missouri Governor Mike Parson both making announcements that their respective states would use that same date for the State Income Tax Filing Deadline.
The recent COVID-19 Relief Plan passed and signed into Law by President Joe Biden included potential Tax Breaks for people who had to file for unemployment during the Pandemic which will alter Tax Returns for many Americans.
