The Bridge Project to rehab the Highway 65 Bridge over Lake Taneycomo will enter another phase on Thursday when the Southbound Ramp leading traffic from Highway 76/Main Street onto Highway 65 will close.
In an interview earlier this month on KRZK’s “Ozarks Now Program, MODOT Engineer Johnny Teagardin explained the reason for the closure of the ramp.
MODOT will have a marked detour which will take traffic onto northbound 65 to the Highway 248/Shepherd of the Hills Expressway Exit then on the overpass and eventually back onto southbound 65.
The bridge project is expected to be completed sometime in July.
