With many organizations working to get COVID-19 Vaccines out to the community, a new location has been added to the list in Taney County as Vaccine Sites.
The Taney County Health Department will now be administering their vaccines at the former VF Outlet Location at the Shoppes at Branson Meadows while CoxHealth will continue to utilize the location at the Branson High School Activities Center.
Taney County Health Department Director Lisa Marshall says in a Facebook Video that due to the amount of vaccine now coming into the region, they can accommodate more people and need to expand the space to distribute vaccines.
Lynne Yaggy, VP of Clinical Services at Cox Medical Center Branson, talks about that in more detail during a Monday interview on KRZK’s Ozarks Now Program stating that narrow parking area at the activities center was tough on some of the older patients and splitting the two sites makes it easier for all involved .
