Though the format is different, the College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats are once again entering NAIA Postseason Play as the Lady Bobcats take on Northwestern of Iowa in the opening round of the 2021 National Tournament playing in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Lady Bobcats, who didn’t start play until February due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, won eight of the nine games they played including the tournament championship of the Association of Independent Institutions Tournament to qualify for the National Tournament.
The NAIA, back to one division for basketball after nearly 30 years, are playing at 16 opening sites. A win by the Lady Bobcats today move them on to a game on Saturday against Omaha Top Seed Clarke of Iowa.
This morning’s game will start at 11:00 and can be followed through the NAIA Website.
