The National Weather Service reminds folks of the hazards that extreme weather can cause during Severe Weather Awareness Week which is happening around much of the country this week.
While Strong Thunderstorms and Tornados are some of the better- known hazards, Meteorologist Kelsey Angle with the Weather Service in Springfield reminds people of the dangers of flooding during an interview on Monday’s “Ozarks Now” Program on KRZK.
One part of Severe Weather Week in Missouri is the Statewide Tornado Drill which takes place this morning at 10:00.
The complete interview with Kelsey Angle can be seen on the Ozarks Now Facebook Page..
