Explore Harrison’s Executive Director Matt Bell spoke with “Around The Table” on KHOZ Monday about upcoming festivities.
Bell talked about the state’s COVID-19 restrictions being lifted. “Our restaurants can breathe now.” He said he is thankful that all of their restaurants survived.
Talking about the smaller restaurants in the area, Bell said, “They made it work with limited seating capacity, and now they’re going to see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
He said that currently 36 hot air balloons are coming to town. They will be in town throughout the week. Bell added that they have partnered with the state photographer. “On Friday they’re going to do a flyover of our community.”
50 volunteers are needed for this event. The event will take place during the month of April on the 16, 17 and 18. Bell said balloon crews are a priority. Bell can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
