Friday Basketball Recap

Friday’s Recap includes wins for both College of the Ozarks teams in the Association of Independent Institutions Tournament.

The top seeded Lady Bobcats had little trouble in running by Fisher 71-38 while the Bobcats, the four team tournament’s fourth seed, got hot from beyond the arc hitting 11 shots in running by the host team and top seed Crowley’s Ridge 72-49. Both team’s punch a ticket to the NAIA National Tournament and will play for the A.I.I. Tournament Titles Saturday, the Lady Bobcats play host Crowley’s Ridge at 3:00 while the Bobcats match-up with Voorhees at 5:00. Both games can be heard on 981 KCAX.

In High School Basketball, Branson closes the regular season with a huge second half as the Pirates beat Neosho 77-58 at home while Ava has a huge rally to down Reeds Spring 58-50.

In the Class 2 District finals in Crane, the host Pirates knock off Galena 68-64.
