In a press release Thursday, TCHD officials continue to encourage residents to take appropriate COVID-19 precautions including physical distancing, hand hygiene, staying home when sick, wearing a
face covering, and disinfecting commonly touched surfaces.
TCHD also highly encourages residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine by signing up for the wait list at www.taneycohealth.org.
“We are saddened to see the number of deaths associated with COVID-19 increase, and remind
community members that prevention and vaccination are our best lines of defense,” states Lisa Marshall, TCHD Director in the press release. “We are encouraging our community to receive the vaccine when it is
available and they are eligible.”
