Harrison is not the only northern Arkansas Community that will ask for the voters help in building a Community Center and upgrading Park Facilities.
Voters in Mountain Home will have two ballot issues to decide on in March to help fund a new center and upgrades to facilities as well as maintain those facilities once the project is done. Mayor Hillrey Adams mentions several potential benefits for the project during an interview this week on KHOZ’s “Around the Table” Program including a recruitment tool for one of the cities biggest employers.
The vote on these measures, delayed from last year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, will take place on March 9 with early voting getting underway next week.
