Postseason Basketball: Goblin Season Ends, Lady Goblins Host

by: Scott McCaulley

The late season surge for the Harrison Goblins was cooled off last week due to postponement of games due to the extreme winter weather with the Goblins unable to pick up the momentum and having their season ended at Huntsville Monday night, dropping a hard fought 59-54 game.

The 4A-1 Conference Tournament continues with higher seeds hosting games including the top seeded Harrison Lady Goblins hosting Farmington this evening at 6:00 in a game that can be heard on 94.9 KHOZ.

In Missouri, District Play continues for Class 1, 2, and 3 Schools. The Blue Eye Boys season ends with a 58-46 home loss to Morrisville 58-46 with the winner advancing to play top seeded Crane on Wednesday. Tonight, the Girls Top Seed Blue Eye is in action as the Lady Bulldogs will play host to New Covenant Academy out of Springfield. 7:00 start time with the game to be heard on perryphillipssports.com.
