The Lakes Region has another day of Extreme Cold Weather ahead but there is a break in the Snow today, but more is expected late tonight into Wednesday.
Doug Cramer with the National Weather Service in Springfield during an interview on KRZK’s “Ozarks First” Monday says this new system has been a challenge to predict.
Current predictions call for a potential of 6-8 inches of snow in some areas of Northern Arkansas and 3-5 inches in Southern Missouri.
Snow will exit the area late Wednesday into Thursday with temperatures expected to rebound beginning Friday, rising all the way to the low 50’s by early next week.
