Winter Storm, Wind Chill Warnings in Effect for the Ozarks

The Lakes Region is under both Wind Chill and Winter Storm Warnings for today with Snow Fall eventually ending in the region while very cold temperatures continue.

The Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for extreme Northwest Arkansas until Noon and for the rest of the Lakes Region until 6:00 this evening. Snow totals from 3-6 inches are expected from this system.

The WInd Chill Warning is in effect for the region until Tuesday with potential of -15 to -20 below Wind Chills Possible.

Another chance of Snow is in the forecast for Wednesday with temperatures expected to moderate after that and be back above Freezing by Friday.
