First term Missouri State Representative Travis Smith says his biggest priority is getting many residents in his District access to the World Wide Web.
Rep. Smith, whose District covers all of Douglas and Ozark Counties as well as the eastern two thirds of Taney County, says during an interview last week on KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program that many of his constituents are in Rural Areas and are at a Disadvantage for many new online advancements.
Smith says the Rural Internet Access is also important to many of the businesses in the District, especially Tourist Businesses that are often in remote areas.
