City of Branson recognized Cheryl Harrison as Employee of the Month on Tuesday. Harrison is the Office Specialist of Public Works/Engineering for the City. Branson Alderman Bob Simmons presented the award to Harrison.
“Cheryl is receiving this award due to her dedication during the Christmas season. She spends hours of her own time planning and organizing the Christmas setup,” Simmons said. He said Harrison also does so with the taking down of the setup. She does this at City Hall and the Fire Department.
Simmons said Harrison also put together a mitten tree to gather coats and mittens for children living in the Branson community who would not have them. “She does it all with a smile on her face and a love for the City of Branson in her heart,” he said.
