One of the facets of the City of Harrison taking over the Old School Buildings Downtown is to team up with an organization wishing to set up a one stop shop to help veterans in the region.
The Jack Williams Veterans Resource Center, known as “Camp Jack”, will occupy the building that was originally an Armory before the School District used it for many years as a Cafeteria.
President of the Organization Matt Russell, in an interview on KHOZ’s “Around the Table” Program Wednesday talks about the “Camp Jack” concept and some of the plans for the new facility. Russell also says they hope to finalize a lease with the City by the end of the month and open up with limited services within 30 days after that.
