The Nixa Board of Education unanimously voted to fire the Junior High Assistant Principal Colby Fronterhouse on Monday after having been charged with sexual exploitation of a child for child pornography early this year.
Police said a 13-year-old had been texting Fronterhouse for about a week, and Fronterhouse was pretending to be a 14-year-old girl. He asked for “sexually explicit” photos, requested poses, and had sexual conversations with the victim.
After an investigation by Federal Authorities as well as the Christian County Sheriff’s Office that began last year, Fronterhouse was arrested on the charges in late January and placed on Administrative Leave before the Board’s decision to terminate Fronterhouse on Monday.
