Martin: Being Prepared is Important During Frigid Winter Weather

Branson Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Ted Martin talks about the things people should prepare for with another round of Freezing Drizzle and much Colder Temperatures heading towards the Ozarks.

During an interview on Tuesday’s “Ozarks Now” program on KRZK, Martin discussed the importance of being prepared for possible hazards if traveling, even postponing trips if needed.

Martin also reminded people to properly prepare both Commercial and Residential Buildings for the cold including protecting Water Lines.

Most of the Lakes Region is under a Winter Weather Advisory beginning tonight with more ice accumulations possible with colder than normal temperatures expected this weekend.
