While the Hunting Season for Deer is now complete, those deer not harvested during the season will be shedding antlers which can be found and collected in areas of the Ozarks.
Antlers that are found unattached on one’s own property as well as public lands can be kept with no permit required as long as the antlers are not attached to a skull plate. If antlers are attached to a skull plate, people will need to contact the Missouri Department of Conservation so they may investigate.
