After a postponement of the 2020 Hot Air Balloon Championships in Harrison due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, two events will be held in 2021 starting with the first one this April.
Matt Bell, Executive Director of the Harrison Convention and Visitors Bureau on Monday’s “Around the Table” Program on KHOZ, says the are looking at around 35 balloons that will be flying in the skies around Harrison, breaking the previous high mark of 20 balloons.
The event , which will celebrate 25 years, will take place April 16-18 at the Boone County Regional Airport.
