Faith Community Health Names New Board Members

Press Release

Faith Community Health (FAiTH), a Branson charitable clinic serving uninsured and underserved residents, announces the election of six new members to its board of directors. Tom Willcox, Board Chairman, expresses his appreciation for the new members. “We are blessed with some great additions to an already strong board as Faith Community Health pursues its 2030 vision for affordable healthcare in Ozark Mountain Country.”

Members joining the FAiTH board in January include: Mike Combs, Principal with KC Hospitality Inc.; Babette Fogle, Co-owner of Fogle Enterprises; Laurie Hayes, Executive Director of the Branson Area Lodging Association and the Springfield Hotel Lodging Association; Jeff Justus, President of L&J Plumbing Supply; Craig McCoy, President of Mercy Springfield Communities; and Steve Willoughby, Principal of Willoughby Communications and General Manager of Ozark Mountain Media Group.

“I look forward to working with our new board members as FAiTH works to fulfill our mission of providing access to affordable healthcare for the underserved and uninsured,” comments Kenn Tilus, the executive director of Faith Community Health. “We know that we have only served a fraction of our workforce who have neither health insurance nor the resources to afford even basic healthcare services. FAiTH is working to expand FaithCare services by partnering with employers to provide affordable access to primary care and prescription medicines for uninsured employees. We are the primary organization in our area caring for patients in the healthcare gap, without access to either Medicaid or health insurance.”

The Faith Community Health Board of Directors is currently chaired by the Rev. Tom Willcox, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Branson. Jim Brawner, Community Educator with CoxHealth, serves as Vice Chairman. Matthew Farmer, R.N., Director of Clinical Operations – Population Health at CoxHealth and Owner of Vintage Paris Cafe, serves as the Board Secretary and Dr. Brian Wilson, Superintendent of Schools at Hollister R-V District, serves the board as Treasurer.
