H.S. Basketball: Branson Grabs Overtime Win, Harrison Tangles With Huntsville

In High School Basketball action Tuesday night, the Branson Pirates at home trailed visiting Springfield Parkview for all but a few seconds during their contest. But the Pirates chipped away at the lead and hit a three at the buzzer to take the game to overtime, then held on to grab a 67-64 victory. The Pirates got 26 points from Kade Goodwin, including the basket to tie it in regulation, to lead the Pirates.

Meanwhile in Harrison, the Goblins also had the ball late in their home game with Huntsville but were not able to get the shot to drop to tie it in losing to the Eagles 59-57. The Lady Goblins had an easier time of it as they remain undefeated as they rolled to a 65-22 win.
