Richard Asbill, Cassville’s Superintendent of Schools, submits his resignation during a Special Meeting of the Board of Education this week to accept a similar position with the Bolivar School District. His resignation is effective at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
According to a post on the Bolivar School District’s Facebook Page, Asbill will take over for current Superintendent Tony Berry who is retiring after four years at Bolivar. Berry’s time in Education also included seven years as Activities Director at Branson High School.
Asbill has spent many of his years in Education at Cassville including the last 11 years as Superintendent. Asbill also was Superintendent of Schools at Southwest of Washburn for four years.
