by: Scott McCaulley

The Executive Director of the Taney County Partnership visited KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program on Friday and talked about several subjects.

Arjes, who was also the interim Director of the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB between the departure of previous Director Jeff Seifried last July to the arrival of new Director Jason Outman this past Monday, talked about how the area trended upward toward the end of the year in numbers and revenue and also about helping Outman navigate his way through the first few months of his new role as leader of the Chamber.

Arjes talked about the launch of some big projects the Partnership had been working on that were completed in 2020 including the new Wonder Works and Aquarium facilities in Branson in addition to the new Resort Project getting underway in Hollister. Arjes also talked about one of the big challenges ahead would be getting workforce development projects back on track after work processes changed for many people during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
