Taney County’s Loaves and Fishes program will not be operational this year. The cancellation is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Taney County Program Coordinator is Jim Lawson. “Because of the virus the typical format that we have, which is at two churches where people come in and sit close to one another and have a meal…that doesn’t work. Then spreading people out really doesn’t work, because we would not have enough room, enough space,” Lawson tells the Branson Tri-Lakes News.
Meanwhile, Stone County Loaves and Fishes will go on this year but some locations will be doing drive-thru only due to limited space in some locations. The Stone County locations are listed with the full story from the Branson Tri-Lakes News.
