Although the Tourism took a hit in Harrison in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, officials from the Convention and Visitors Bureau hopes a late surge in visitor numbers carries over into 2021.
Matt Bell of the Harrison CVB visited the “Around the Table” Program on KHOZ Thursday and said that the area’s outdoor tourism offerings helped several businesses rebound after a long summer.
Bell said events in 2021 include two Hot Air Balloon State Championships, a make-up event for the one missed in 2020 in the spring plus the regularly scheduled event in the fall.
