A combination of wet and slick roads due to a mixture of weather conditions around the Lakes Region contributed to traffic crashes worked by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Saturday.
A man from Reeds Spring escapes with only moderate injuries after his SUV slid off of Highway 76 east of Branson, struck a guardrail and overturned Saturday morning around 7:40. 69-year-old James McFerron was taking to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment of his injuries.
Around 2:30 Saturday afternoon, a man from Branson sustains minor injuries when his pick-up truck ran off of Highway 76 east of Kirbyville and struck a sign. 53-year-old Edward Cummins was also treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson for his injuries.
A man from Springfield swerving to miss a dear on Highway 76 near Cape Fair ended up traveling off the road and striking a ditch. The accident occurred around 8:00 Saturday evening and it sent 48-year-old James McCarty to Cox in Branson for treatment of moderate injuries.
