The three people who have announced their candidacy for Mayor of Branson are among the people who signed up to get on the April Ballot on the first day of eligibility.
That includes current Mayor Edd Akers, the incumbent he beat two years ago Karen Best, and Marshall Howden, who announced his intentions for running for this office again after losing a bid for the Ward One Alderman Seat in last June’s election.
Also signing up on Tuesday for the Branson Ballot were current Ward 2 Alderman Larry Milton and Julia King, who was appointed to the Board in August to fill the unexpired term of Ward 3 Alderman Kevin McConnell.
The sign-up period for Municipal and School Board Elections in Missouri runs until January 19th, 2021.
