Forecasters from the National Weather Service hit the mark as the Snow Forecasted for the Lakes Region moved through on Sunday dumping various amount of the white stuff in the Lakes Region.
Reports of snow amounts made by various agencies to the National Weather Service include 6 inches near Busch in Northwest Carroll County with 3 1/2 inches reported in the Eureka Springs area. Elsewhere in Arkansas, 4 inches of snow was reported in Newton County around Parthenon and north of Jasper. In Boone County, 2 to 2 1/2 inches of snow fell in the Harrison, Lead Hill, and Omaha areas.
Generally smaller snow amounts were reported in the Missouri Lakes Region including 1 to 1 1/2 inches of snow in Ridgedale and Walnut Shade in Taney County as well as Lampe in Stone County and Seligman in Barry County.
Storm Dar Weather on Facebook reports amounts of snow around the Branson area at 2 inches.
