More than two years after 17 people died in a duck boat sinking on Table Rock Lake, Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley says his Duck Boat Safety Legislation has passed the Senate.
In a Tweet on Thursday, Senator Hawley said that the Bill passed the Senate unanimously. The Bill calls for increased oversight and safety measures on Duck Boats after several incident over the years including the Ride the Ducks Boat that sank in Table Rock Lake during a storm in July of 2018.
In a separate tweet, Hawley thanked fellow Missouri Republican Senator Roy Blunt as well as Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton for their support on this Legislation.
