The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB announces in a press release that they will have a new President/CEO after the first of the year.
Jason Outman comes to Branson from Columbia, South Carolina where he has spent 10 years including the last six as Executive Director of the Direct Marketing Branch of Experience Columbia SC. The previous four years, Outman worked with the Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports, and Tourism and had previously began his tourism career at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Outman will succeed Jeff Seifried, who had been Chamber President/CEO for five years before leaving this past summer to take a position with Connell Insurance. Executive Vice President Jonas Arjes has been Interim President/CEO since Seifried’s departure.
Outman will assume his new position on January 18, 2021.

Tim Scott, Community Bank President, The Bank of Missouri, and Chairman of the Board, Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB, is pleased to announce that Jason Outman will be joining the Chamber/CVB organization as the new President/CEO.
“We had a collaborative hiring process and believe that Jason Outman is a great fit for the role,” stated Scott. “I believe his leadership, experience, and perspective will go a long way toward increasing visitation to Branson and, ultimately, the success of our community.”
Jason is a graduate of Strayer University with an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management and comes to Branson from his previous position as Executive Director with Experience Columbia SC. He began his tourism career at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and later joined Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports & Tourism in Columbia, South Carolina where he was Director of Sales & Services for four years. In 2014 Jason joined Experience Columbia SC where, for the last six years, he has served as Executive Director leading the tourism, conventions, and sports teams. Most recently Jason completed the Destinations International Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) program while serving on the Convention Sales & Services Committee, as well as the Advocacy Committee.
He and his wife, Yavonda, have two children and enjoy boating, sporting events, theater, and spending time with their three dogs.
After leaving his position with Experience Columbia SC, Jason Outman’s first day on the job in Branson will be January 18, 2021.
