A full closure of the Kyles Landing Road in the Buffalo National River from the National Park Service boundary to the campground begins this week and will last approximately one month.
The closure will allow maintenance crews to resurface the road. There will be no vehicular access to Kyles Landing during this time, but thru-hikers and thru-paddlers may access the campground by trail or by river.
When planning a trip to the Buffalo, park officials say it’s always a good idea to check the website for park alerts, closures and conditions at https://www.nps.gov/buff/planyourvisit/conditions.htm.
