Branson Officials Approve Legislative Priorities Resolution

The Branson Board of Aldermen, meeting Virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, approve a Resolution Tuesday night approving their Legislative Priorities for the 2021 Session.

The Resolution identified four top priorities which includes removing the Ticket Selling Loophole from the Tourism Tax, encouraging the passage of a State Wide Internet Sales Tax, establishment of a Statutory Framework for Bond and Bail for repeat and violent offenders, and clarifications by law regarding Permanent Guests at Lodging Establishments.

The Resolution will be shared with incoming Branson Area State Representative Brian Seitz and State Senator Mike Moon for the 2021 Missouri State Legislative Session.
