The Hollister Lady Tigers defeated Crane for the Championship of the Crane Invitational Tournament on Saturday with a final score of 60-45. The Tigers defeated Galena 82-30 in the opening round of play and would then go on to win against Bradleyville 68-32.
Senior Kendrick “Bug” Bailey was voted MVP of the tournament and junior Gabby Franciskovich was voted to the all-tournament team.
The Lady Tigers take on Cassville at home on Thursday. They are led by head coach Jimmy Lincoln and assistant coaches Keith Dougherty and Aleski Smith.
