The Harrison Goblins 5A Football Playoff Game and the Semi-finals of an area High School Basketball Tournament are on-air tonight.
The Goblins, after close wins in their first two 5A Playoff Games, face one more challenge in their quest to qualify for the State Championship game as they host Little Rock Christian tonight at F.S. Garrison Stadium. Kick-off is at 7:00 with the game heard live on 1029 the Z.
Meanwhile, Legends 1063 KRZK will feature the semi-finals of the 60th Annual Forsyth Boys Basketball Tournament with Hollister playing Ava at 6:00 followed by the host Panthers playing Strafford at 7:30. Final round games from the tournament on Saturday can be heard on 981FM/AM 1220 KCAX.
-The lone game in the Forsyth Boys Tournament last night sees Reeds Spring hold off Blue Eye 46-43 in a Consolation Game. Consolation finals for Saturday are set with Blue Eye playing the Forsyth JV in the 7th Place game at 2:00 with Reeds Spring to play Carl Junction for 5th at 3:30.
-At the Blue Eye Girls Tournament, the top seed and host Lady Bulldogs pull away from Forsyth 73-41 with Hartville edging out Springfield Glendale 39-37 in the Winner’s Semi-finals while Consolation Games went to Reeds Spring 48-43 over Glendale’s JV with Spokane getting by Exeter 54-14. The final games at Blue Eye are today with Reeds Spring playing Spokane for 5th at 4:30, Forsyth and Glendale playing for 3rd at 6:00 with Blue Eye at Hartville matching-up in the Championship Game at 7:30.
-At the Willard Tournament, the Branson Lady Pirates drop their opening game to Sullivan 47-33. The Lady Pirates will play Ash Grove in a Consolation Game at 5:30 while the Branson Boys, after losing to Bolivar to start the tournament Wednesday, will play Fort Scott, Kansas this afternoon at 4:00.
