Missouri Governor Mike Parson issued guidelines in several different areas last week to help County Governments assess risk and establish plans for handling the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Three risk categories were established, Extreme, Critical, and Serious with the criteria based on a county’s seven-day Positivity Rate and Cases per 100,000 people.
Going into the Thanksgiving Weekend, Taney County is at the Extreme or highest level of risk with the number of cases increasing in the county while both Barry and Stone Counties are currently at the middle or Critical Level with Ozark County at Serious Level.
All area Health Departments and State Agencies are urging people to be cautious during the Thanksgiving Weekend and take extra health precautions to stay healthy.
