19 People Graduate from Branson Police Academy

The Branson Police Department would like to congratulate all 19 graduates of its fourth class of the Citizens Police Academy, who graduated on November 19, 2020.

In order to graduate, all members were required to complete 36 hours of instruction over 12 weeks. The course covered a variety of topics such as police policies, crime scene processing, SWAT/tactical operations, K-9 unit and organizational structure within the department.

The goal of the academy is to build relationships in the community and to share how the Branson Police Department operates, its mission and its goals.

The Branson Police Department will accept applications for the 2021 Citizen Police Academy in the spring. If you are interested in attending or if you have questions about the program, contact Officer Donathan by phone at 417- 337-8503 or by email at ddonathan@bransonmo.gov.
