Wet Roadways Cause Two Traffic Accidents in Lakes Region

With Tuesday’s Rainfall, wet roadways leads to a couple of traffic crashes worked by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Tuesday.

The driver of a Fire Truck loses control of his vehicle on Highway A east of Hurley in Stone County around 3:15 Tuesday afternoon. The Fire Truck hydroplaned off the roadway and overturned. The driver of the vehicle, 38-year-old Jason Kisner of Crane, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

Around 7:15 Tuesday evening, a pick-up truck traveling on F Highway near Bull Creek in Taney County hydroplanes off the roadway and strikes an embankment. The driver of the vehicle, 35-year-old Bobbi Forester of Springfield, and a 9-year-old passenger in the vehicle escape with only minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
